Via Ferrata

Via Ferrata Durmitor is located on the Uvita Greda cliff, at an altitude of 2,199 m, near the Sedlo pass road. From the Sedlo parking area to the start of the via ferrata is about a ten-minute walk, making it easily accessible yet impressive for a true mountain experience.

The route is about 400 m long with an elevation gain of 230 m and a B/C classification, placing it in the moderately challenging category. During the ascent you pass through secured rock sections, with cables, footholds and mandatory equipment. On the route there are two benches offering excellent views of Sedlo and Stožina.

From the summit of Uvita Greda opens one of the most beautiful views of Durmitor — you can see Šljeme, Bobotov Kuk, Bezimeni Vrh, Prutaš, Terzin Bogaz, Zupci, Sedlena Greda and Šareni Pasovi. This via ferrata is one of the highest altitude routes in the region and one of the highest in Europe.
